About Us
The Writing Village is an online teaching organization that hosts live, virtual classes via Outschool. At The Writing Village we recognize that writing is essential in all areas of life to become a good communicator. We integrate writing with history, science, math and even business. Our classes are project based in order for students to fully see how writing skills are utilized in real-life application. We create a warm and friendly environment where each child is cherished for who they are.

Debbie Davey (Fukuda) is a children’s book author. Debbie earned a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing from Eastern Oregon University and a Master’s in Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Debbie has been an English Language teacher for more than ten years and is a foster parent to unaccompanied refugee minors.
