Write, Write, Away - Comprehensive Writing Course
Beginner - Advanced Level, Meets 2x/Week

This rigorous writing course is good for both homeschoolers and for those looking to improve writing skills. Students will over three main topics - writing, grammar and research skills. The majority of the class will cover various types of essays and writing. However, the last quarter of the class will be focused on grammar and study skills which they will also be learning along the way.
Each class begins with a fun journal prompt, where students receive personalized feedback to help them grow as writers. They'll then enjoy a short, engaging lesson through YouTube videos or teacher-created Google Slides. After practicing the skill together as a class, students will dive into their own writing projects using Google Docs.

In this engaging and interactive class, students will go on exciting journeys through writing! They'll write a personal narrative, dig in deep with a dinosaur information report, take a walk through the plants and learn about colonial life in America They will also write a poem and finally land on Mars.
Each class begins with a fun journal prompt, where students receive personalized feedback to help them grow as writers. They'll then enjoy a short, engaging lesson through YouTube videos or teacher-created Google Slides. After practicing the skill together as a class, students will dive into their own writing projects using Google Docs.
With small class sizes, each student gets individualized support, making this an enriching and confidence-boosting experience. Get ready to write, explore, and discover!

They will dive deep into ancient cultures through research writing, and learn about Newtons laws of motions as they do an egg drop experiment.
