What is The Writing Village?

At The Writing Village, we believe writing is essential — not just in English class, but in every area of life. Good writers become good communicators, and that skill matters no matter what path a student takes. Our classes connect writing to history, science, math, business, and more. Students don't just practice writing in isolation — they use it the way they would in the real world. Our project-based approach gives them the chance to see how writing shows up across subjects and situations. We take pride in creating a space where every child feels welcome and valued for who they are. Learning goes better when kids feel comfortable, and we work hard to make sure that's the experience every student has with us. Every instructor holds a Bachelor's degree or brings extensive experience in the subject area they teach. Our teachers know their content well — and they genuinely enjoy sharing it with students.
